Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married in Los Angeles

Los Angeles (msn news/ web news): Johnny Depp and Amber Heard quietly got married on Tuesday in their Los Angeles home. The couple reportedly legally got married in the U.S. days before they are set to exchange vows on his private island Little Hall’s Pond Cay in the Bahamas.

As Gossip Cop reported, Heard and Depp are scheduled to have a slightly bigger island wedding reception over the February 7-8 weekend, with around 50 guests, including the actor’s kids with Vanessa Paradis, Lily Rose and Jack. Some family members and friends will stay at Depp’s house on the island, while others will camp out on his 156-foot yacht “Vajoliroja.”

Heard will walk down the aisle in a McCartney wedding dress. It’s not known, at this time, what the bride and groom wore for their more private wedding on Tuesday. Gossip Cop has reached out to Depp and Heard’s reps for details about the small U.S. wedding.

Depp and Heard began dating in 2012 after meeting on the set of The Rum Diary and got engaged in January 2014. They later celebrated their engagement with Ryan Adams, Mandy Moore, Steven Tyler, and Marilyn Manson at Carondelet House, a 1920s-themed event space in L.A. Tuesday’s wedding marked the first marriage for Heard and the second for Depp, who was wed for a few years to Lori Anne Allison. Depp also was in long relationship with Paradis, with whom he had his children, before they split up in 2012.
