Hepatitis B & C is spreading in Pakistani cities.

Pakistan, Islamabad: Hepatitis Virus is present in Pakistan’s five largest cities’ water.


Hepatitis virus is present in country’s five largest cities’ water. After the discovery of this decease, the Federal Ministry of Health decided to check drinking water of effected cities.


According to the detail, in effected cities Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi and Quetta are included where this polluted water was found. The investigative teams will sent to mentioned cities for further tests of water and they will collect water samples after final assessment.

Further, the water which is used in hotels and cafes for cooking food and making tea is not only polluted but also infected from hepatitis virus. According to Health Ministry of Pakistan, hepatitis virus is increasing in Pakistan very swiftly.

According to a guesstimate, in country two and half million people are suffering from hepatitis B and hepatitis C. The slow poisoning decease is widely spreading due to the mix-up of sewage water into the drinking water.

Doctors say that if boiled water is used in our daily life then it may be helpful for people to control hepatitis B & C in society.
