Facebook has been closed in many countries included Pakistan

There was an internal fault not an outside attack, said website officials.

The world’s biggest social network website Facebook and its photo sharing website Instagram were blocked around the world for up to an hour on Tuesday. According to the company’s authorities, there was an internal fault not an outside attack.

Officials said that the outage at Facebook was started at 06 AM and slowly blocked the traffic on major internet sites, said major internet sites holders who reports from around the whole world.

The shutdown of facebook website was due to large traffics on site and maintenance work is being on site from site holders. As the website will again restore then the service will again restarted.

According to sources, the service has been restated from the officials as fault has been removed.
