Jaaved Jaaferi to dish out cricket masala on radio

The World Cup ended, but the cricket fever is far from over. Catering to India's constant cricket love, 92.7 BIG FM is launching BIG Googly, a show which aims to take the cricket mania in the country a notch higher and offer its listeners a unique entertainment-filled cricket experience this T-20 season

Jaaved Jaaferi, who is going to host this show, has, over the years, donned many hats in showbiz — that of an actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, VJ, emcee and ad filmmaker. He has demonstrated his unique brand of comedy on television in the 1990s, where he incorporated puns, impersonations, characters and accents into his acts. He will be joining hands with Paritosh Painter, national creative director, RBNL, for the show. The duo have regaled movie lovers with their comedies Dhamal and Paying Guests. Paritosh explained, "BIG Googly would have Jaaved Jaaferi dishing out cricket masala, covering the scandals, glamour and controversies, along with regular updates on matches, giving it a proper 'googly' in his unique style."

An excited Jaaved said, "Every Indian follows cricket on a sentimental level. The game is highly entertaining and can give people a reason to be both, happy and sad. I'm glad to have received such a platform where I can reach out to so many people and give listeners a chance to experience cricket like never before — blended with comedy, gossip and fun. I'm positive that listeners will enjoy tuning in to the the show."

So, gear up to lay off the stress and be ready for a lot of laughter this cricket season on 92.7 BIG FM. With a host as versatile as Jaaved, the listeners can expect a whole lot of funny comments, eccentric expressions and cricket commentary on the show.
