4 people injured in Quetta Blast.

Pakistan, Quetta: At least four people were injured in a blast in Quetta's concerned Saryab Road area on Wednesday, according to police.


Imran Qureshi, the Superintendent of Police Saryab road told that radical had planted a bomb in a bicycle near Awami Petrol Pump on Saryab Road.

He said the bomb goddamned at that time when a police automobile approached the area. Policemen were narrowly unhurt and escaped from the spot, he added.

The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment. Doctors termed the condition of one of the injured person are in serious condition.

Police and paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) personnel immediately rushed to the site to investigate and encircled off the area. The blast also damaged nearby shops in the area.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. However, police suspect Baloch separatists militant groups could be behind the incident.

The blast has come a day after Spokesman of FC Khan Wasey injured in a firing incident in Double Road area of the Balochistan capital.
