Up to 125 villages in the Multan district were overcome on Thursday as aggressive floodwater let loose by monsoon rain made their way southwards.

According to National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) floods destroy nearly 2000 schools in Punjab and Till 325 people dead and more than 500 people injured due to flood and heavy rain in Punjab. Nearly 17583 houses fully destroyed, NDMA said.
